Default Dryer end-of-cycle signal

I recently moved into a new home where I will now be using a white Maytag Performa dryer Model No. PYE2300AZW, Revision 10, serial no. 10274628ZK. I would like to know how to turn off the end-of-cycle signal. No manual was left so I do not know how to turn this off. Can someone please tell me where I could find the button to turn the buzzer off? It's so loud!

Thank you,

Lara

Your dryer does not have the option to turn the signal off.

Here is a link to your dryer model PYE2300AZW.

If it is driving you crazy you could open up the control panel and disconnect it
I would disconnect both wires at the timer
Be sure to disconnect the dryer from power
Tape them up just to be safe that they do not touch something with juice on it
Make yourself a little note (where the wires go) and leave it in the control panel
You may want to reconnect it one day

Option 2 would be to mount a piece or two of felt between the buzzer and the mounting plate. This should quiet it down some.

Option 3 wire in an on/off switch

Here is a link to the manuals

Operators is for an AYW not an AZW but should be close to yours
