When using the automatic cottons mode with the timer set to the "Prefered Regular Setting *", the timer doesn't advance and shut off when the cloths are dry. If the the timer is set between the "Less Dry" and the "Extra Care" settings the dryer turns off when the cloths are dry.
I have replaced the timer and Drum Outlet biased thermostat.
Any suggestions?

You will need to trace out with the schematic where the timer voltages are coming from. You could hav a little elecronic board that's bad.
