Default Dryer-Does not Heat
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MLG2000AWW
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have Maytag Neputune Stacked Washer/Dryer and the dryer does not heat. I would like to know the possible parts that would possible need to be replace in order to fix the problem.

The circuit breakers and the gas line are working o.k. and there is no leaks.

The washer/dryer unit was recently repaired by A & E (I believe is a division of Maytag); and the motor and control board unit were replaced. I do not know whether the replacement of the control board created any problems with dryer. I did notice that after the motor and control unit were replaced, there was a gas leak. So I had the gas company confirmed the gas leak; and subquently, I located the gas leak. The gas leak resulted from the repairman leaving the nut that connects to the gas valve loose.

Please advice.

Thank you.
