Default Dryer controls won't turn off
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: YGEW9250PWO
Age: 1 - 4 years

My Whirlpool Duet dryer's control panel will not shut off after the cycle is complete and I press "Pause/Cancel". When I start the dryer there are a couple of short beeps. My husband has tried turning off the breaker, unplugging, but the control panel lights up again as soon as power is restored.

This dryer was purchased at Sears Canada.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think it needs replacing, it needs to be reset, is there a internal reset button? How do I get the front cover off to take a look?

Oh, How I wish the was a reset button as you say, then I could make $77.95 and hit buttons all day. Go back to the parts select main page, and put in your model #, and it will give you pictures of your product. Tom ApplianceEducator.com

Here is a service manual for a Whirlpool GEW9200L, hopefully this is a close match to yours and it will be helpful
