I just got a used Hotpoint dryer and matching washer. Since they are used there are some Problems with both of them. The dryer heats and dries great, but on the second load it starts to cheep, the cheeping does not increase with each additional load nor does it get louder just sounds like a bird in the laundry room since I have repaired my appliances for years I think I need to grease it, but where do you thinkI should start?

It could be the idler pulley or it could be the drum bearing in the back.

Make sure you use a high temperature lubricant.
