The belt broke on my dryer, i have purchased a new one. Having trouble installing it. I have gotten belt around drum, through the tensioner, and around motor. Will turn about 1/4 turn and stop. What can I do?

Undo the belt from the motor/tensioner and try turning the drum manually a couple rotations. It should rotate fairly easily. Perhaps you messed up when reinstalling it and the drum is binding.

Reinstall your belt and check it again (turning the drum) it should be the same or just slightly harder to rotate
