Hi
My Dad & I took apart my dryer to fix the belt. Not knowing that we DIDNT have to take the drum completley out, we took the screws off on the inside of the drum attaching it to the back of the dryer itself, now we cant get it back together. Can this dryer be saved??? sharon57

sounds like you unscrew the rear drum bearing from the back of the drum. If that is what you did the you have to take the rear bearing out of the support bracket ,should just pop up and out , and with two people or somebody with long arms screw the bearing back on the drum. when that is done just put the drum back in. bearing should drop into holder . next time if you have to take the drum out just pick up on the back of the drum and it should pop right out. you may what to wear gloves the metal is very sharp
