Recently I had to replace my Thermal Cutoff Kit. I can not find the place to connect the small orange wire that I believe is for the timer as the dryer works
but it doesn't shutoff automatically. The orange wire is not connected.

Can you help and tell me where it goes?

When you replaced the thermal cutoff kit, did you disconnect all the wires off heater box? if so, some heat elements have a red wire a small orange wire and a red wire on the hi-limit thermostat. some times they give the wrong kit. older heaters have 2 red wires on the element & 2 red wires on the hi-limit thermostat,
an old kit leaves you with out a place to put little orange wire. bettyboop
