Default Dryer
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: SDG3606AWW
Age: 1 - 4 years

Hi;

I have a Maytag Dryer and it has a felt belt or liner that goes around the drum. It has come out and it about 2 inches wide. We have tried to placed it back in but it just falls out again. It's seems to dry OK wihout it. Does anyone know what purpose it serves or how to get it back in? Any help would be appreciated.

The felt is a seal between the drum and the bulkhead.

It will have to be glued back in using a high heat sealant.

The part number for the sealant is PS65390.

Here is a link to your dryer model SDG3606AWW.
