Default Dry will not stop
Brand: Estate
Model Number: TEDX640EQ1
Age: 1 - 4 years

I'm trying to figure out what could be wrong with my dryer. The thing will not stop drying. The timer will not move unless it is on timed dry. On timed dry it will count down from 30 to 10 but it stops moving once it hits 10. Reguardless the dryer doesn't turn off. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Trey

check to see if you have 120 volts to timer motor when it gets to 10 min. could be the timer hanging up.

Also auto dry doesn't move the timer at all. Could this still be the 120 v. issue?

maybe If you run the dryer with no load in it set to auto turn dryer on and wait to see after a couple of mins if you get 120 to the timer. you only get 120 to the timer motor on auto cycle after it shuts off on the thermostat
