On the little plastic clips, just get a pair of wire cutters, and snip the clip in a couple of places, and then pull it off. The just pop the new one on. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom

Default

Get a small screw driver or knife
Pry one side up and pull it out of the groove
Hold it to the front so it cannot slip back in
Then do the same on another side
Should then pull off

There is a good chance the clips will break while doing this if they are old/brittle

Putting them on again is easy
They should just push on, as roller shafts are usually bevelled
