Default Drum rollers- PLEASE HELP - simple question
Brand: Whirlpool
Age: 1 - 4 years

Confused - looking straight at rollers - left roller has a triangle washer holding it tight on both sides of wheel.

Right roller's washers are not flush against the wheel on both sides so wheel can slide back and forth on the shaft. Should the wheel be held in place by the washers - tight on both sides OR should there be some "give" and the triangle washers are farther apart on the right side and that's ok.

I am just a mom trying to save some money and I may have made a big mistake taking this apart myself. I think I can figure out how to get it back together with belt, etc. but the question of left vs. right roller and how it should look with the traingle washers is holding me up putting it back together. Please help!! Thank you!!!!

I seem to remember the one pair of rollers I've replaced were like you describe. The roller which slides will follow the groove in the drum. Post your model number and we may can find more information.
