I have a Hotpoint Dryer between 4 and 5 years old. The dryer seems to work fine as far as spinning and heating. The problem is that when the dryer spins, the drum makes a rumbling noise. The noise does not go away. The drum makes this noise when the dryer is off and I turn it by hand. It is not very loud, but annoying. When you turn the drum by hand, you can almost feel a consistent vibrating. Any idea what this could be.

Sounds like a rear support roller is going but need the Model number to ensure your unit uses rollers
