Default Drum glide replacement / paint worn from drum lip
Brand: White-Westinghouse
Model Number: WDE546RFS0
Age: 5 - 10 years

I picked up the replacement drum glide #5303937139.

The instructions state to "inspect the drum lip (bearing surface) for wear. It must be smooth with the paint intact."

My drum has worn down to bare metal.

Please tell me my options.

I imagine the paint was the baked on enamel type. Is there a suitable spray paint that can be smoothed with a fine grit sand paper? Or do I need a new drum?

Thank you!

The paint would have been baked on but the dryer should work fine even with the paint gone.

It may wear the glide a little faster but will still work.

Here is a link to your dryer model WDE546RFS0.
