Default Drier still won't heat after replacing element
Brand: Whirlpool
Age: More than 10 years

I replaced the heating element on my drier, however it still does not heat up. From what I understand it could be the fuse or thermostat. Where are these located, and which should I try first? Guidance, suggestions??

Can you please supply me with your model number?

Have you checked the house fuses? There are two 30 amp fuses that run the dryer.

Check the wiring were the cord is hooked to the dryer. A wire may have burnt off.

There are several Thermal Couples located on your Dryer. Odds are that it is the one located on the heating element housing. It'll have two wires going into it. Check it for conductivity and if you don't get any replace it.
