Question Drier runs but no heat
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: Heavy duty
Age: 1 - 4 years

1. Frigidiare drier is < 2yrs old. 2. I’ve checked the thermal limited fuse, the heater element, the high limit thermostat and they’re all OK- continuity. The wiring diag. is attached. What else can I check to fix this problem. How do I test the timer, or selector switch to see if faulty.

You will need a meter. Check timer contacts for continuity, the heavy wires usually black and red. Activate the motor centrifical switch and check the heavy contacts on it, usually red and red. Also look for burnt wires and make sure you have power on the pigtail connector.
