Age: 5 - 10 years
My dryer will not start every time. I push the start button and it tries but will not start. after a few tries it clicks and will not make any sound .

You probably have a burnt out motor. To confirm, I check schematic for which motor pins feed the run winding, then use a cheater cord to drive the motor directly with 115 volts.
