I don't want to be the dummy here but I've searched the forums and I found the parts list for my dryer but I can't figure out how to dis-assemble the dryer to get to my squeaking parts. I'm sure it is the idler roller and possibly the belt too.

I just don't want to destroy my dryer trying to get inside of it. Any how-to advice or tips? I'm fairly mechanically inclined but I don't want to mess anything up before I get started good.

Open the door of the dryer, and take the 2 screws that hold the door on. Remove the door. Then take the 2 screws out on the opposite side, and then pull the front panel off. Now you have to take the front housing off. There are four 5/16 scres that hold it in place. 2 on the right, and 2 on the left. Remove it, then take off the belt, and remove the tub. Then everything will be there for you Tom ApplianceEducator.com
