Angry Cothes have burning or rust marks
Brand: Frigidaire

My dryer is ruining my clothes. I can't tell if it's rust or that the clothes are getting tied up and burned. Sometimes the marks are random on multiple items. Many times it is just the points of a shirt collar or the bottom of a shirt. But there are still many other items where the marks are in the middle. Is it even possible that they are burning or is it simply rust? Please help!

Default Dryer marks

I had the exact same thing happen to me awhile back. Very frustrating because the spots could not be removed. It was usually the collar of a shirt or if not, it showed as kind of an oval shape. I finally discovered the clothes were catching in a small gap near the lint screen and getting stuck. I imagine the fabric was getting too hot and got scorched. There was nothing I was ever able to prevent it from happening. I finally got tired of ruining my clothes and replaced my dryer.
