We are trying to fix a commercial gas dryer. I found a problem yesterday with the wiring in the wall. The ground wire was hot. I found the source of the problem and thought that was the end of it but, the dryer will still shut off. The breaker for the machine is fine. The machine will run for a while and then completelly shut off. Sometime when the machine is turned back on, it will not be able to turn the drum. I wish I had the diagrams for the inside of the machine to help me fix it but, do not. Are the any suggestions you can give as to what the problem can be?

When the dryer goes on, and then shuts off by itself. If you walk up to it immediatly will the dryer turn on. If not you need a motor. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
