Default Can I Change The Motor on a Gas Dryer??
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 110.77902790
Age: 5 - 10 years

Im pretty sure that the motor is blown on our dryer. if it has been sitting a while, it will start and run for about 5min, then the swich just buzzes when trying to start. after a few tries it does nothing. tried pushing the drum and nothing...but i did get that great smell of something electrical burning or something similar. so i am pretty sure its the motor.

but can i change the motor out?

i keep seeing on diffrent threds not to try to fix gas dryers. is that in refrence to the drying system? i would asume thats what is ment.....?? thanks
