Cool Burner stays on short time
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: LDG9806AAM
Age: 5 - 10 years

The igniter glows and the burner starts... but very quickly it shuts off ...then 30 seconds later the solenoid clicks and the igniter glows, burner starts then it shuts off again. It keeps repeating this.
I checked the ducts and there are no obstructions. I checked the flow of air from outside of house when the dryer is turned on and it seems OK.
I checked for continuity between the prongs of the 2 sensor type components mounted on the burner housing(Tube like housing) and I get full resistence/closed circuit in both. one is rectangular shaped and has a glass like side. The other is a little sensor I think.

Right after the blower where the long exhaust tube goes out of the dryer there are 2 other sensors/components. One looks like a thermal fuse with 2 prongs. It has full continuity.
Then there is the one next to the thermal fuse which is a "Dryer cycling thermostat with internal bias heater". The outer terminals have closed circuit/full continuity, but the inner terminals have an open circuit.

I am suspecting the Dryer cycling thermostat with internal bias heater is bad because of the open circuit. Do you all agree? or if you have another suggestion please let me know.

Thanks in advance
