Default Blower not working
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: pye2000Ayw
Age: More than 10 years

My dryer stopped spinning, so I had to replace the belt. The dryer will now spin, but the blower does not seem to be working. The heating element is working properly and will get quite hot if I leave it on. I tested it for only a minute or two. Please help!

The center of your blower wheel is soft plastic and is stripped out and slipping on motor shaft, a very common maytag problem
