Wink Bearings are going out. do we need a new motor, or can I just replace the bearings?
Brand: Maytag
Age: More than 10 years

My 22 year old Maytag electric dryer has been making a squealing noise. I took it apart and fouond that the bearings are going out. Do I need to replace the whole motor, or is there a way to just replace the bearings?

Thanks.

Some come apart, most do not.
Plus finding the proper bearing could be a daunting task
Worth a try but do not get your hopes up

Get your model number and look up on Appliance Parts From PartSelect | Repair Parts For Major Appliances
to see if it is worth the trouble
