Default Automatic cycle on Whirlpool Duet won't finish
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: QGW9200LQ0
Age: 5 - 10 years

When selecting automatic cycle normal, timer get stuck at 22 minutes remaining. When selecting timed cycle, need to add more time to finsh a normal load.

Any suggestions?

Is there heat in the dryer?

Are you getting any codes in the display?

Check the vent to make sure it is not block.

Here is a link to your dryer model GGW9200LQ0.

Dryer works ( it heats up) on the timed selection but not the automatic cycle (it heats up but doesn't finish the timer). I'm suspecting a sensor.

Is this a job that I can do myself or should I leave it to the pros?

I don't get any error codes unfortunately.

Thanks for your response. Any ideas

It is likely the moisture sensor.

You can likely replace yourself.
