Take the front of the dryer. On some amana dryers, they have a smaller panel on the bottom front, take it off. Look all the way back on the left hand side on the bottom. That is where the heating element is. There is a thermostat on there, and there is a thermal fuse. That is your problem. If you have a meter, you should get continuity. If you don't. Unplug the dryer, and pull the two wires off the thermal fuse. It is the one that kind of sits up off the housing. and put the 2 wires together, and tape them up so they don't hit metal, and then plug in the dryer, and see if it works. If it works replace it.
