Please add a Model Number and some details

It cannot be running fine or it would dry clothes

Is the drum rotating?
Does the timer complete a cycle?
Do you have heat?
Have you tried all cycle types and temperature/fabric settings?
What results did you get from the above?

My dryer has the exact same problem.

1. The drum rotates
2. It completes all timer cycles
3. It has no heat, (gas supply is OK.)
4. I've tried all temp/timer settings.
5. I've cleaned out the lint ducts (inside and outside of dryer).
6. The drum lamp does not go on. (It's probably burmed out).

Is it the ignitor?

Its an Admiral Model: LNC8764A71, rev. 11; SN. 11126628AV
I've had it 4 years.

Thanks In advance for replying.

Gkar..

Default Possible Solution.

Denman,

Thanks for replying.

After a closer observation, the problem may be the gas valve coils. The ignitor comes on and gas begins to flow. However, after about 10 - 30 secs., the gas shuts off, then comes on again after about 1 minute. This happens even during the "Timed Cycle", where the gas flow should be constant throughout the cycle.

I ordered an M series coil kit for less than $20 ( a lot cheaper than a service call).
Hopefully this should fix the problem.

I'll report back, after installing the new coils.

Gkar..
