Adhesive for outlet duct assembly Brand: Maytag Model Number: LDE8704ACE Age: More than 10 years I made a mistake by popping off the front cover of the outlet duct assembly for my Maytag dryer model LDE8704ACE, where the lint screen slides into, and need to know how to put it back on. I realize that they just used dabs of some kind of adhesive around the edge to hold the two plastic pieces together. I looked it up and Maytag has a rubber adhesive (055978) and a high temp. adhesive (055980), but is this part in a high temp area? or since this part doesn't seem to be under any kind of stress during dryer operation, could I just use an epoxy from Home Depot made to bind plastics to other plastics?
