I am having a problem with the 3 lamp display bds shorting out. I have replaced this bd 3 times. The last time I replaced the timer also which this bd plugs into.
This board controls timer movement and is the controller for the Maytag "Intellidry" system. I have checked wiring, replaced all kinds of othe parts.
I think I would be hard pressed to ever buy another Maytag product of any sort. It is ridiculous that a company doesn't have a service manual available for their dryers.
Any thoughts. I wonder what kind of luck I would have if I have to resort to calling a service tech.

Well I found out finally what was going on. I got 2 times, the wrong timer for my dryer. The supplier had the wrong timer, with the correct part number on it, in the box with the correct part number on it. Go figure...... I had to call Maytag service in. After three trips and 2 call to their tech line, a tech had the same problem and was aware of this problem. This is not in my medical business "Rocket Surgery". It is really tough to fix stuff when the manufacturer can't keep their damn parts straight.

p.s. I bought the timers and display boards from Parts Select. This company has been great to deal with as far as refunds, it was not their fault that the wrong parts were supplied to them. I will continue to do business with them. They have great customer service!!
