Age: 1 - 4 years

we just purchased cruit board & handle. When we started the dishwasher, it fills & emties only. it will not engage to start the wash cycle.

now what?

Was the original problem that it would not wash?

Check to see if you have power to the motor.

Does the motor make any sounds at all.

If the motor hums check to see if there is something stuck in the pump.

There is a separate drain motor.

how do you get to the pump? do you get there from the inside or throught the bottom of the dishwasher?

You can access the pump from the inside of the dishwasher.

Remove the spray arm and work your way down to the pump impeller.

Use the breakdown to help with the disassembly.
