Default Whirlpool dishwasher sticks at water warming
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: gu1500xtlb1
Age: 1 - 4 years

My dishwasher takes 2 hours to run a normal cycle. It stays 15-20 min at 78 minutes, when the sesing, water heating lights come on, and again at 42 minutes with the same lights on. I had a repair man replace the wires to the heater (He said they were loose). That did not help. Now he replaced the heater. That did not help. What is wrong?

Ok...I am answering my own question, in case it may help anyone out there. I called my appliance repair company again, and they came out. I was told that the warming cycle (I have two) takes so long because I have the temp on my water heater set down. The new dishwashers must heat up to 150 degrees...and that takes 15-20 minutes. I think my water heater is set at 120 degrees. So if I use the normal cycle, with two preheats, it takes 2 hours to do a load of dishes!
