My whirlpool dishwasher stopped draining the waste water a couple of days ago. It appears to be cleaning the dishes - just won't drain at the end.
I can hear the pump when I press the "Drain/Cancel" button but the water does not drain. I unclamped the drain hose at both ends (at the check valve and as well as the disposal) and it appears to be unclogged. Also, the check valve drained out the water when I unclamped the hose.
Any suggestions on what could be causing the problem?

You may want to remove the machine, empty the water out best you can lean it back and remove the pump, I have found glass,food,tooth picks ect. in those remove it clean it and reinstall and it should work fine be sure to check the hoses that connect to it and make sure theres nothing ready to block it again!!!!!!
