Default Whirlpool buttons/functions don't all work
Brand: Please select
Model Number: DU943PWKTO
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a ~6 year old Whirlpool Quite partner 2 dishwasher that the functions have quit working. I ran the reset on it and it would run only on light wash. Tryed locking and while locked pushed each button to see if they worked. Each button caused the locked light to blink so I assume the buttons are OK and the problem is the control unit. I bought a new control unit and installed it. Exact same issue , I'm lost as to what to try next. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Here is a parts breakdown. Click on the Frame and Console Parts section, then click on the control part number (Item 3 blue print), a new page will come up, scroll down and ther is help from a person who had a similar problem.

Well I had already cleaned the ribbon cable contacts -thats the first thing I did . However I did it again and it seems to be working for the time being - with the old controller. So I guess I have a spare. Thanks for your help.
