Default Water in tub at end of cycle
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: gsd3415f00aa
Age: 5 - 10 years

My dishwasher leaves clean water in the bottom of the tub. The motor and drain valve solenoid test OK, drain hose is not kinked or clogged, and there is no plumbing problem in the house or any other blockage anywhere in the dishwasher. Should I suspect the timer motor? What is my next step?

Default two hoses connected wrong

I discovered that the drain hose and the hose that goes to the tank at the rear of the dishwasher were improperly connected and that when I switched them, everything worked normally. The drain hose needed to be connected to the bottom outlet by the drain valve and the other hose to the top outlet of the pump body. I hope all this makes sense (let me know if it doesn't). I realize that this is probably a very uncommon problem that few if any of you will ever see, but it is very easy to spot and fix if it happens to you.
