Question Water not coming into dishwasher

Model Number: 6651677990
Age: More than 10 years
I have just replaced a water inlet valve on my dishwasher but no water is coming into the dishwasher is the float the other culprit?

no water coming into dishwasher after replacing water inlet valve, this is a kenmore dishwasher 6651677990
