Default Water leaking thru steam vent
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: JDB6510AWP
Age: 5 - 10 years

Hi,
I found a posting with the same leaking vent problem. It seems the steam vent is not shutting and water is accumulating in there so it leaks out from the vent when the door is opened. I have already changed the vent assembly and timer. The other person who wrote about a similiar problem had a suggestion to to check the wax motor on the vent. I could not find this part with the link from that posting. Does anyone know more about this? Appreciate any help!

Can you give me the part numbers of the vent and timer that you replaced?

The wax motor is a part of the vent.

Did you replace the seal when you replaced the vent assembly?

If you are still having this problem there is a vent moisture kit available.

The part number for the kit is PS737811.

Here is a link to your dishwasher model JDB6510AWP.
