Unhappy Water Leak
Brand: Roper
Model Number: WU3000V2
Age: 5 - 10 years

When the dishwasher starts there is a flood of water coming out of the clear plastic water inlet on the outside left side of the dishwasher. It is not plugged up. The water inlet appears to be an "open" device so I am wondering if there might be "something" in the inlet valve/solenoid that retards the water flow so the water inlet will not be overwhelmed and that "something" is not working. Would replacing the inlet valve/solenoid be the solution?

Thanks for any help.

Default

The water valve has no special features it is just a valve that open to let water in and then closes.

How high is your pressure?
