Default Washer timer
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: mah5500aww
Age: 5 - 10 years

my maytag washer will not advance to the next cycle. the circuit board does not show any sign of burn marks. i would manual advance thru each cycle and it would run fine. also my door lock light indicator does not come on. help!!

This is extremly fun to fix!!!!!!! Its is possible that your light is bad, your switch that controls the light is bad, if your door locks then chances is its one of these, if it does not lock then your wax motor that controls the door lock could be bad!!!!

I didnt look your model number up so this is a shot in the dark , is this a neptune series????
