Angry Wash impeller removal
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 665.15662992
Age: 5 - 10 years

My dishwasher is having draining problems. I have seen other posts on the forum indicating that this may be due to a worn drain impeller. The trouble I'm having is getting to the drain impeller. I get as far as the wash impeller but cannot, for the life of me, get the screw out of the wash impeller. I've heard that there is a special tool that will hold the impeller in place and allow you to remove the screw. What is this tool and where would I be able to find one?
I've also heard that the screw is a "reverse" screw, is this true?

Thank you!

Screw is a right hand thread. You can bust out a corner of the impeller with a chisel and clamp vice grips on it, allways works for me. You will need to bust out the rest of it as they allways get rusted to the motor shaft.
