Default Top arm and mystery 1st cycle?
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FDB750RCC1
Age: 1 - 4 years

DH took everything apart. cleaned, etc. top arm is not dropping water or of course spinning the arm. We can see the water rise up the side to the top of washer then..... nothing. Also, First "cycle" sounds like running motor but water does not enter until next "click" or "cycle" then fills and lower washes and drains etc. Could both of these be a motor/pump assy replacement issue?

The frigidaire dishwashers always start with a drain for about a minute before filling with water, that could be what you're hearing. All the newer models of frigidaire dishwashers switch between the 2 spray arms while they're washing, if you want to check to make sure, start it running with water, run it for about a minute, and then press on the door switch to stop it for less than a second and close it again and the top spray arm should start going and the bottom one should stop.
