Default Tine Latch
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MDB9750AWW
Age: 1 - 4 years

I am posting because I had the worst time ever trying to get a part for my Jet Clean III. I needed the tine latch on the top rack of my 3 rack dishwasher. Maytag assured me that it was a 99002710. Only it wasn't.

If your serial number starts with 30 or 33 then this is not the part for you. The part you need is a 99003484. I couldn't find a picture of it anywhere so I will post one here for you. Also, the 99003484 has been superceded to a 99003577 tine assembly. This includes both rows of tines, the clip (99002735) and the latch. This is the new way to get this part. Maytag (Whirlpool) doesn't know anything about this part. The only diagrams that I found for this showed the 99002710.

If you need the tine latch that fits over the ends of the tine rows and clips to the floor of the rack and the base of the tines then go get a 99003484 if you can. If all those are out then order a 99003577 and solve your problem at last.

Here is a link to the parts of your dishwasher model MDB9750AWW.

Yes a lot of the parts you will have to have your serial number to get the right part.

Thank you
