Exclamation Spray arms not turning
Brand: Crosley
Model Number: CDU450V
Age: 5 - 10 years

Everything works but the dishes aren't clean. Spray arms are not turning.

Is there a belt or something like that powering them? Has one at bottom and top. Has been a great unit up to this point.

Here are your parts
Maytag CDU450V

And here is a service manual
http://www.servicematters.com/maytag...s/16007937.pdf

Usual causes are:
1. Low water level - pump works but sucks air so it cavitates and cannot develop any pressure

2. Dirty filter screens etc.

3. Pump is jammed or not working

You could very well have a food build up in the motor assembly. You would have to take it apart from the top to view this. Denman, gave you a great breakdown on your product. Also the water when the dishwasher is done filling, should come to the bottom of the element. If you don't have enough water, you will have no action. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
