Default Strange noise
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: du900pwkqo
Age: 1 - 4 years

whirlpool du900pwkqo

Starting last week during most cycles (wash, drain, rinse) it would make a rattle noise, kind of like the marble on a roulette table. The noise seemed to follow the motor, meaning....if I could hear the noise I would open the door, normally you could hear the motor wind down as you open the door, in this case the rattle noise would wind down with the motor and stop when the motor stops. The noise has not happened as much as it first did, for ex, today it didn't make the noise during wash or rinse, but the drain cycle in the middle of the both it did it bad. I can't find anything in the tub. I'm pretty handy so I'm not to afraid to dig in a little. I'm new to dishwashers so any terminology you may need to explain in detail.

thanks
