Post Still Leaking under the door.
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: DWU9200BAE
Age: 5 - 10 years

My dishwasher is still leaking under the door about 6" from the right side.

I have replaced the seal, the float assembly and float switch. I've checked the upper and lower spay arms for cracks and found none. The tub fills for about 90 seconds and the water level is just over the heating element. I watched the float from the bottom as the tub filled and it moved smoothly and the water shut off as soon as the switch was released.

Any ideas of what I'm missing?

Thanks.

Check the adjustment on the door springs.

There are adjuster on each side.

Turn the 1/4" screw clockwise to increase the spring tension.

Both side should be adjusted about the same.

You have high water pressure or a bad water solenoid.

Thanks Sheila. The spring tension seems to be the same on both sides and appears to close tightly. While looking around I did notice that the grommet around the dispenser latch was pretty worn through. I took that whole assembly off and there's a lot of soap residue around the latch on the inside looking like it might be the source of a leak. I ordered the SUB 99001551 (Dispenser Latch Kit) (Series A0) and will report back any success or lack thereof.

Thanks.

Thanks Appguy. What is the water solenoid? I don't see it on the parts list. I'll check my water pressure, but it seems to be normal, if not a little low.

Thanks.

I just replaced the above mentioned grommet and and the machine no longer leaks. I'm a happy guy.

Thanks all!

Pull off inside door panel and look for water marks, just might be a gasket leaking.
