It fills with water fine. The water gets heated up so the inside of the unit is nice and steamy, but no water goes through either of the spray arms. Through the wash and rinse cycle it just sits there doing nothing. Then at the end of the cycle the water drains just like it's supposed to. I have cleaned every filter I can find but no luck. I've taken out everything that looks like I can take out from the inside. Cleaned everything and replaced it. Still nothing. I also pulled it out from under the counter and a visual inspection does not reveal anything obviously wrong. I did check the spray arms too. There is no blockage at all. It seems like the water is not getting to the arms at all, instead just sitting in the bottom of the unit.
It is a Frigidaire 950 series dishwasher 2 year old.

After reading few posts, I tried removing 'check ball' and this machine started working again like new. Both the spray arms have water and dishes are coming out clean.
I am not sure what to do with the check ball and is it really necessary to have it ?

The check ball blocks the spray arms to facilitate drain. Without it = no drain.

Well in that case that thing needs to go back to its position. I must mention though that the DW drained properly even without them.
