Wink Spray arm does not spin
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: WC202
Age: More than 10 years

Hi If anyone can help me save some money that would be great!. This dishwasher is at least ten if years old I moved in, and it was here. It has worked good until recently it stopped. I was set on going to get another one. But soon found out a belt had come off the bottom pulley. I bought a New Maytag belt and installed it myself. However the spray arm which I have numbered inside does not move. I know this because I have numbered it. Sure it may be time to get a new one, but would like to know is there something else I should look for. Everything sounds fine, no leaks, washer is running through cycle, water sprays from top and bottom. The top spins, but the bottom moves only slightly then stops. Any suggestions money is tight. So I am hoping.

Thanks

Remove belt and turn pulley under washer, if tight, you need a new pump housing bearing. Also pull pump apart and check for something jamming the impeller.
The pump repair kit is pn 901109 Go to partselect.com for assembly info.
