Default Spontaneous smoking dishwasher!
Brand: Admiral
Model Number: BDUR41401
Age: More than 10 years
Our dishwasher started smoking tonight WHILE OFF. It had been run about two and a half hours previously. The smoke was definitely an electrical smell.

We've turned off the breaker and are awaiting repairs tomorrow.

What's the likely diagnosis?

Depending on where the smoke came from it could have been the wiring in the control panel.

It is had to say with out knowing where the smoke came from.
