My 4 year old Maytag dishwasher runs somtimes and other times starts, fills with water, then turns off. Even if you turn on again and drain, it will fill and turn off again. This happens 50% of time. Other times it runs like it should. Do you think replace the control board will solve the problem? Please Advise.

It may but there might be a loose connection somewhere else in the dishwasher.

Check the wiring to the motor.

Check and make sure that the door is latching properly.
