Default Removal of sprayer arm to clean
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: DWC7400AAW
Age: More than 10 years

There has been residue on the dishes in the last two loads in our portable dishwasher. I noticed a bit of glass in one of the holes of the sprayer arm and "gunk" in two others. Also, the "pop-up" plastic piece in the center has bits of paper in it. I do not have the owner's manual but I have searched the Internet and found a diagram for this model but no instructions on how to dismantle these parts to clean them. Please advise me.

Have you tried running it with one of those dishwasher cleaner products for removing hard water deposits? It sounds like that's what you have. Before we had softened water, we had to do this every other month or so. We didn't have to remove any parts, just run empty. Hope that helps.
