Maytag dishwasher Model DWU9200AAX, 1994 Model.

The lower spray arm is loaded with hard water deposits.

We have a new spray arm to replace the old one.

Problem is how to remove the old spray arm.

Have checked the parts diagram very closely.

Can not fiqure out how to remove the spray arm from the strainer.

Can not find a picture of the strainer either to how it looks with out the spray arm installed.

What is the correct method to get the spray arm detached from the strainer??

Hacksaw has new blade and is the backup detachment system.

Country boy with severe extreme removal tools on hand. Air, electric, manual types on hand as well as the smoke wrench.

To remove the spray arm you first have to unscrew the tower.

The spray arm then should lift off.
